The Flora and the Pomona, the publication of which ruined its author

• 3 volumes in-4 half-basane, smooth spine decorated with black & gold lines, title and volume number labels, VIII- 528 color inset plates, ch. 1 to 528 (out of 544) accompanied by their notices. The last 17 deliveries are missing. The 6 volumes are collected in 3 volumes, but the titles are: Volume first (1828), second (1829), third (1830). Some foxing, light for the boards. Good copy.

Rare and important inventory whose publication ultimately ruined its author (1772-1845). The botanist Persoon dedicated to him, under the name Jaumea, a genus of plants from the Compositae family.
