This magnificent Goyard Art Deco style shoe trunk features canvas with very unusual and original “tourist” patterns, solid brass locks, as well as brass studs and large leather side handles. It still has its French flag painted on both sides. It also has a very light honey colored lozine trim. Its patina is beautiful and warm. She has a very unique style. Its interior is also original with its 2 removable trays but it lacks compartments. Its bottom is all in zinc and still has its manufacturing plate “Au Touriste, Cannes et Monte Carlo”. This Goyard art deco style shoe trunk is highly sought after due to its unusual proportions which give this piece a very special elegance. It could be a very nice side table, a bedside table or a wonderful little blanket box.
