Henri Godet , est un célèbre sculpteur français , né le 5 mars 1863 à Paris .
Il expose pour la première fois , au Salon des Artistes Français à partir de 1886 , avec son buste en terre cuite « Vanité » .
Il remporte une médaille de bronze , avec le « Portrait de Mlle » au Salon de 1889 .
Il reçoit une « Médaille de 3ème classe » le 1er juillet 1893 , par le jury de la section de sculpture du Salon des Artistes Français .
Il reçoit la distinction d’Officier d’Académie (arrêté du ministre de l’Instruction publique et des Beaux-Arts du 16 février 1899) .
Henri Godet décède le le 14 octobre 1937 à Vincennes , il est inhumé au cimetière du Père-Lachaise .
Artiste reconnu pour ses œuvres monumentales et ses créations en bronze , marbre et terre cuite .
Son travail , qui mêle abstraction et recherche sur la forme humaine , continue de captiver le marché de l’art encore de nos jours.

He won a bronze medal , with the « Portrait of Miss » at the Salon of 1889 .
He received a « 3rd Class Medal » on July 1 , 1893 , by the jury of the sculpture section of the French Artists’ Exhibition .
He received the distinction of Officer of the Academy (decree of the Minister of Public Instruction and Fine Arts of February 16, 1899) .
Henri Godet died on October 14 , 1937 in Vincennes , he is buried in the « Père-Lachaise » cemetery .
Artist recognized for his monumental works and his creations in bronze , marble and terracotta .
His work , which mixes abstraction and research on the human form , continues to captivate the art market even today .
