Willem KRIEGER (1877-1945)
Wilhelm Krieger est un célèbre sculpteur allemand , spécialisé dans la sculpture animalière .
Il est le fils du peintre Eduard Theodor Krieger .
Après un apprentissage de peintre décorateur , W.Krieger étudie brièvement à l’École des arts appliqués de Munich .
Par la suite , il se forma à la sculpture en autodidacte .
W.Krieger participa à plusieurs expositions , dont la Sécession Munichoise et la Grande Exposition d’art allemand à la Haus der Kunst .
Il créa des sculptures animalières dans différents matériaux tels que le bronze , le laiton , la pierre et la porcelaine .
