Wilhelm Krieger est un célèbre sculpteur allemand , spécialisé dans la sculpture animalière .
Il est le fils du peintre Eduard Theodor Krieger .
Après un apprentissage de peintre décorateur , W.Krieger étudie brièvement à l’École des Arts Appliqués de Munich .
Par la suite , il se forma à la sculpture en autodidacte .
W.Krieger participa à plusieurs expositions , dont la « Sécession Munichoise » et la « Grande Exposition d’Art Allemand » à la Haus der Kunst .
